When a repair just won't make the cut
While our main goal is to provide quality fence repairs, and salvage your existing fence, sometimes this isn’t always possible. In these circumstances, we are more than happy to provide full install services for our customers when needed. Here are just a few reasons you may need or are looking for a new fence install:
the "20 percent" rule
Typically, if more than 20% of your fence is damaged, it is possible that it may be time to do a full tear down and new install. We will always try our best to choose the cheaper option for you, and as surprising as it may seem, sometimes a full install is cheaper than a fence repair. The 20% rule will always be applied in combination with a cost comparison, depending on the material of fence that we are dealing with. The end goal is to make sure that we are providing the best service for the best price that will make either the repair or the new install worth your time and money.
life expectancy and proper maintainence
The life expectancy of your fence will rely greatly on two factors:
- If your fence was properly installed
- If you maintained your fence
Any fence should typically stand tall and sturdy for at least 15-20 years. However, if you haven’t practiced proper maintenance with your fence, it is likely you will be needing a new one sooner than expected. Unfortunately on the other hand, you may find yourself in need of a new fence because of faulty or careless building practices. But, not to worry, we promise that your new install will never fall short of quality craftsmanship. We will also be sure to provide you with proper maintenance advice to ensure it stands tall and sturdy like its built to do.
Change is a good thing
There are many times that we do new installs for customers that don’t have any issues with their fence other than being tired of looking at it! What once served its purpose, and was the desired look that was wanted at the time just simply doesn’t measure up any longer. Home owners association (hoa)
When a good fence starts to wear down, it can become an eyesore more so than an asset. This may cause your fence to draw attention to your HOA. In most cases, your Home Owners Association may require a new install to maintain the integrity of the neighborhood you reside in. In these situations, we will do a close inspection of the fence, assess all the damages, and decide together how much you want to invest in your fence’s future. More times than not, to avoid further run-ins with your HOA, it is best to preform a new install at this point.

Wood fencing
Wood Fences are beautiful and a very popular option, but does this mean it’s the best fencing option, or the right one for your new install? Let’s take a look at a few of the pros and cons of wood fencing to help you better decide for yourself.
PRO
Appearance– Wood fences will give any home or business a classic, natural look instantly. However, over time as the wood fence starts to show its age, a natural look can start to look faded and frumpy.
Versatility– Wood fences can be painted or stained any color you desire to match the exterior of your home, or to be a statement piece on its own. Be aware, that with paint and stain comes a lot of upkeep to maintain the fence’s appearance.
CON
Durability– Wood fences may look sturdy, but with one strong winded storm, harsh winter, or overly wet spring/summer, can bring on a multitude of problems for this fence. In these instances, you can be left with a broken, leaning, or missing sections of fence until a repair can be completed.
Maintenance/Vulnerability– While these wood fences look beautiful when they are first put up, there is a lot of yearly maintenance involved to sustain a wood fence’s appearance. On the other hand, wood fences are also very susceptible to bugs like termites, and certain types of mold and rot. You will have to ensure you’re keeping a close eye on the entire length of your fence on either side to make sure these small issues don’t turn into major problems down the road.

Aluminum Fences offer an array of styles and colors to perfectly match any home or business. They are a great choice for anyone desiring a new fence. But, let’s weigh a few of the pros and cons of aluminum fencing to assist in determining if aluminum is the best option for you.
PRO
Low-Maintenance– Aluminum fencing is a great option for the homeowner or business that desires long-lasting aesthetic appeal with very little upkeep. Aluminum fences will never require painting or refinishing once they are installed. Aluminum is also very easy to clean; with a quick hosing off of dust or debris, you’ll have your fence looking good as new with very little time or effort.
Inexpensive– Aluminum fencing is cheaper than materials like steel or wrought iron fences, but they can mimic the looks of such. While aluminum can cost more than a wood fence, its low-maintenance nature could actually save you money in the long run.
CON
Less Privacy– While aluminum fencing provides an attractive, low-maintenance structure for your home, it does not conceal much, if at all. If privacy is what your main goal is with your new fence, you may want to hold off on purchasing an aluminum fence- for it won’t provide what you’re after.
Not Recommended for Security Purposes– Aluminum is much more lightweight and less durable than wood or steel fences. If your main priority is to keep large animals in, and intruders out, then an aluminum fence may not be your best option.
vinyl fencing
Vinyl Fences offer the most versatility in any style of fence. You have options from a small little picket fence to a tall privacy fence without hesitation. Let’s look at a few pros and cons of this style of fence to see if it’s the right fit for you.
PRO
Won’t Splinter or Rot– Unlike a wood fence, rest assured that with a vinyl fence, you will not run into issues like rotting or splintering of any kind that can result in costly repairs down the road.
High Quality Vinyl can Resemble Traditional Wood– You can have the best of both worlds with quality vinyl to mimic a wood fence without the pesky upkeep, rotting, or vulnerability to bugs. This style of vinyl will offer a classic look that will never start fading as time passes like that of a traditional wood fence either, its a win-win!
CON
High Initial Costs– While a vinyl fence has many great things to offer, the initial price tag is not always as appealing to homeowners and businesses. If you’re really looking to invest in a fence that will last a lifetime, vinyl is a promising option. But, if saving money in the present time and not in the long run is the main goal of your new install, vinyl may not be the option for you, and that’s okay!
Extreme Weather Can Be Detrimental– Vinyl fencing does not hold up well in extreme weather such as heavy winds or harsh winters. Damage done to these fences can result in costly repairs. If you live in an area known for extreme weather conditions throughout the year, vinyl may not be your go-to fence.

Chain-link Fences remain one of the most popular fences for a variety of reasons. There have been many improvements that have been made over time to this style of fence to enhance the durability, quality, and even the appearance of chain link. Here are a few of the pros and cons of a chain link fence to help you decide if this is the fence that will check off all the boxes for you.
PRO
Affordability– Chain link is hands down the most affordable fence option available on the market. With proper installation by a fence contractor, you can ensure a tight, lasting installation that will prove to preform well throughout the years to come.
Appearance Options– Your ordinary chain link fence doesn’t have to be just chain link anymore- manufacturers now provide an upgrade to black or green vinyl-covered chain-link. This will offer a more appealing look while still maintaining its affordability all at the same time.
CON
Lack of Privacy– Much like an aluminum fence, chain link does not provide hardly any privacy. It is always important to weigh the option of no privacy wisely when having a new fence installed. If privacy is the utmost important feature of your new fence, it is not likely that you will want to choose a chain-link fence.
Residential Security– While chain-link fences can be built tall, and barbed wire added to the top for your best option for security with this style of fence, it is not typical to do so in a residential area. Almost all homeowners opt for a four-foot chain link fence that leaves much opportunity to be climbed over. If you’re goal is to keep people out of your yard, a different style of fence may be your best option.
